  The suit of wands is the most misunderstood of all Tarot suits. To many Wands represent spirit. This is where the trouble begins. How to define "Spirit?" In the case of Wands it is the spirit of the individual or individuals in the reading. It should not be considered as the holy spirit or influence of God or anything spiritual in that sense.  It is the attitude and the spark that animates the people involved in the reading.
